How to complete a camera pan in 8.5.4

Hello,
I'm using TVPaint 8.5.4 and I'm still a newbie. Is there a way to move the camera around an image -- like panning or zooming in on the current image? I find the interface of TVPaint to be currently daunting and could use any direction you could give me. I'm wondering if the tool to use is the 'multi plane camera', but honestly don't know how to use it.
Also, how do you zoom in on the timeline? I have a 550 frame animation and it's showing me the entire length of the animation on the timeline. I want to zoom in on the timeline so I can work more intricately with the frames. Thanks.

2. See the "Z" in the upper left corner of the timeline? Click and drag it horizontally, this will zoom the timeline.
1. In v8, pans and zooms are done just the opposite way as one might think. The project window is the camera. You need a second project which is bigger than your first project, this will contain the background. Open the FX Stack, select the Keyframer, select the "Render" tab and choose the second project as source. Now in the first tab you can set keyframes for the camera movement which, in fact, is moving the background ...

Just using TVpaint on my classmate's computer, Herve. Everything looks fine to me in terms of it being authentic. Why so confident about this?

Hi Parallelepipeds,
Due to your IP, you seems to be from New York, so what's your school ? Please can you introduce yourself ? Also, can you tell us what is in your TVP Animation
Help > About page ?
Hervé and everybody here does a lot of efforts to bring the quality in the TVP softwares, and using the cracked versions has a big impact on our company, especially in terms of employment. (just count the number of "cows" in the forum !)
If one want more tutorials, contents and features in the future versions, please buy a full products, instead of using the cracked ones, like 8.5.4.

the question should be : "if authentic, why not to keep your software up-dated ? "
TVPA v8.6.4 is absolutely free for 8.x owners, and a lot of bugs have been eradicated since the old v8.5 (2 years ago !)
so, why to deprive yourself of a free update ?
