Re: Any good example using TVPaint for games?
VGmaster, do you have any reliable source about the use of TVPaint in the making of Cuphead ? I asked on Cartoon Brew if it was animated with Toon Boom, and someone said, "It was drawn and inked on paper, colored in photoshop, then assembled in tv paint . Though some animators used something e...

Re: Any good example using TVPaint for games?
I dunno if the game Cuphead counts, while it was drawn and inked on paper and colored on Photoshop, it was scanned on TVP.

Toon Boom's new software Producer
Anyone heard of this? It's apparently a 2d version of the program Shotgun. It should be a handy tool for 2d animators.

Would be more convenient if they used TVP for the hand drawn animation as well, just me.

Re: Disney's Meander software
This should be an interesting alternative to Meander. It's called Helios, which is used by the animation group Duo Cartoonist. It's done using Toon Boom Harmony.

Re: Various stuff made with TVPaint
Is it worth watching? I enjoyed the film much more than I expected : unique universe, nice story, stunning animation (2D and 3D are both excellent). I was afraid it would be quite childish and finally, I spent a really good time. I've even got it on DVD. Nice, I'll check it out sometime. I just wis...

My Little Pony The Movie trailer out now
As someone who has been anticipating this movie since it was first announced, I really like how this looks as a Toon Boom animation. Still, I can't imagine how potentially awesome it'd look if it was done in TVP.

Re: Klaus
I wouldn't mind Klaus being done with both TVPaint and Toon Boom, TVPaint for hand drawn animation and Toon Boom for ink and paint, among other different features. It would be like how The Princess and the Frog was made, being drawn with pencil then being imported to the Toon Boom system, but with d...

Traditional animation and 2d computer animation: Should there be a difference?
One can easily tell the difference between traditional animation and computer animation, the latter is done with pencil and paper and the latter is done with computers. However, there seems to be a misconception that computer animation is just 3d and that anything with a 2d look is traditional. I th...
