TVP12 remotely deactivated at random
I recently decided to give TVP12 another try, but I've encountered yet another bug. The latest issue I'm facing is that my dongle occasionally deactivates when my computer goes into hibernate mode. This issue seems to be specific to TVP12; I conducted a test where both TVP11 and TVP12 were running s...

Re: Bought TVP12 at launch, but still use TVP11
My workstation: Mac Studio 2023 Apple M2 Max 32 GB Drawing Tablet: Huion Kamvas pro 16 The problem is most noticeable when switching between rooms (which I do a lot). Maybe there is a better way to draw and capture images. But it's just baked in my muscle memory. Also, maybe offtopic ... but is it p...

Re: Bought TVP12 at launch, but still use TVP11
@Dean A month later, and I still prefer TVPaint 11. I have updated to version 12.0.3, but the issue with 'dead clicks' persists. I appreciate the dedication of the team, which is commendable. However, given the high price, it still feels like a beta product to me. There's no need to revert to TVPain...

Bought TVP12 at launch, but still use TVP11
Is there anyone else who is not satisfied either, like me? I mean, I use TVPaint every day and was very excited about the new version. Despite the high price. But if the software stays in this state, and I'm afraid of that, I don't think I'll ever use it.... Such a waste of money. But I just feel so...

Always a paper standard (A4 landscape) and then crop it to a proper ratio.
My recommendation is to use more SCOPE (2048 x 858) than FLAT (1998 x 1080) or HD.

I had the same problem. Just contact the team via email and they will give you a download link to a stable version for Mac. They respond very quickly.

TVPaint logo
It's just a nitpick, but is there anybody else prefering the 'older v11' butterfly logo? The older graphic interface also looks more appealing to me.
Additionally, if anyone knows if there's an option to disable the TVP12 custom arrow, I'd be glad to hear about it.

Re: tvpaint 12 crash - using other versions for production set up in v12
Same here! I'm also a Mac M2 user (M2 Max 32 gb) and TVP12 is also crashing occasionally. It is noticeable when logging out and back in. And it sometimes happens when using the Line tool. There is also the timeline popping up when hiding it (shortkey '0'). Still don't know if it is a bug or a featur...

Re: TVPAINT 12 Crashing a lot:((((
- Sometimes the timeline will completely overlap the canvas, seize up then crash. This bug is driving me nuts !!! When I work in TVPaint, I hide the timeline a lot to have more space to draw. And it just keep on flashing over the screen. This bug is even so awful that I can't even draw anymore. Ser...

Re: Native DSLR Camera Support!
Thanks for your reply! I know OpenToonz and used it as a linetest software back in the day when I couldn't afford TVPaint. But the interface was a bit overwhelming for me. I hadn't heard of Tahoma2D, but it seems like a great option if it supports my Nikon or BMPCC. If TVP hadn't spoiled me with its...

Native DSLR Camera Support!
My biggest suggestion for improving TVPaint is adding native DSLR camera support. While controlling a USB camera is perfect for pencil tests, having the ability to use high-quality cameras like DSLRs or cinema cameras such as Blackmagic would be incredible for capturing cleaned frames. Currently, I ...

Re: Dear community, help me understand this upgrade?
I can use TVP11 on my main computer at home, but I also have an atelier/workspace at another location, and I'm constantly switching between the two. Because TVP11 isn't available in the license depot, I can't disconnect it from one device and reconnect it to another. Please correct me if I'm wrong

Re: Dear community, help me understand this upgrade?
I bought TVP12 and I am continuing to use TVP11 for stability reasons Exactly this ! :!: I've also upgraded to TVPaint 12 Pro, mainly because of the non-destructive transform tool. But the timeline window flashes constantly, sometimes it stays blank, and the app crashes after the computer goes into...

Re: How costly is the upgrade from 11 to 12?
The folder system in TVPaint 12 (Professional edition) can be a bit buggy. The timeline window tends to flash constantly, and the software often crashes after your computer goes into sleep mode. I upgraded from TVPaint 11 Pro to TVPaint 12 Pro and, honestly, I prefer sticking to the older version. I...
