Re: Various films made with TVPaint
From a very personal point of view, I admire much in this little piece but all those sentiments are overshadowed by an overwhelming thought that this is such a waste of talent and good works! Is there really what seems to be an endless and sustained appetite among audiences for all this volatile an...

Re: Paul's color scheme
Paul, you seem to be adding one monitor every year to your setup.
4 is something indeed.
I guess side-bins are not much of a novel feature you ha?
What portion of the whole display is your Wacom assigned to?

Re: Paul's color scheme
Only if more people would share their color schemes... actually, inside of that thread someone asks if what's there shouldn't go somewhere else. :| That question you mention was asked in that thread BEFORE it was moved to the Contents Sharing forum. One thread to gather all TVP themes - makes sense...

Re: Woodcut-Brushes
Good work Markus.
This one of the best toolset I have come across here.
I like the idea behind this set, I like the execution (and see the potential for more) and I like the presentation (i.e the panel icons).
Thnk you!

Re: Google a picture
This is such a cool feature. Google know what they're doing. Such a hidden feature probably so few people know of it. So the surprise is nice. It works in Chrome (obviuosly) and in Firefox. Explorer shows the drop-down frame but no results (not surprised), and Safari doesn't respond to dragging at a...

Re: Little Boat by Nelson Boles
I think similarly to you in the respect of how the short ends. But I'm into it for it's contemplative dimension. It's not a film that stays with me emotionally, yet it brings a certain amount of surprising pleasantness which I so miss in films these days. As for technique, I think there is no actual...

Re: Help! Animation disappeared!
I think what doofusy described is simply an alteration of the zoom level. instead of individual frames he's now zoomed out and sees frames from a further out view. Doofusy, you just need to zoom in on the timeline. Stand on the timeline panel, pres down ALT and use your Right-Mouse button to drag in...

Re: How do I unapply an FX stack?
Apart from online backup, I also take the above mentioned precautions.
Always duplicating a layer before applying FX, and always duplicating a clip before merging some layers together.
When the magic of non-destructive bitmap technology hits the streets I'll happily forego those habits.

Re: Sheeped Away, my graduation short
The film is a good effort and well carried out. All of its production aspects are also professionally carried out, which is quite an achievement to be proud of for a student film. I do think though that i'm personally tired of this style of design by now. Ever since Ren and Stimpy we haven't stopped...
